LVT is the fastest-growing flooring category in the UK, but the market is noisy. Here's how to filter.

Wear layer: anything under 0.3mm is for light residential only. 0.55mm covers most homes for 20+ years. 0.7mm+ is light commercial.

Format: plank for hallways and living areas, herringbone for statement rooms, large parquet for spacious open-plan.

Install: glue-down for the premium finish, click for faster DIY-friendly installs.

Brand tiers - entry: Lattia, Textures. Mid: Karndean, Invictus. Premium: Amtico.
