Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) is an outstanding choice for pet owners, offering a robust and practical surface that excels where other materials fail. Its inherent resilience makes it highly resistant to the scratches and scuffs that active dogs can inflict, maintaining its pristine appearance for years. Crucially, LVT is water resistant, meaning spills and accidents are easily wiped away without leaving stains or damaging the subfloor. This hygienic quality is paramount for pet owners, ensuring a clean and odor-free environment. Furthermore, LVT provides a comfortable surface underfoot, offering better traction than slick tiles, which can be beneficial for older dogs or those prone to slipping.
Daytona, Flooring Monster's own range, combines a commercial-grade 0.55mm wear layer, 83% more than the 0.30mm most home vinyl carries, with a water resistant surface, so spills and mopping are not a problem. It is suitable over underfloor heating up to a surface temperature of 27°C and is guaranteed for 25 years residential and 10 years commercial. Daytona is available in glue-down plank and herringbone formats, with free UK delivery on any order size.
