Cotswold Brushed Bourbon 190mm Engineered Oak Wood Flooring

Cotswold Brushed Bourbon 190mm is a rich, deep warm brown — whisky-toned and the darkest of the four brushed finishes. On a wide 190mm board the depth of colour and the figure in the grain both carry much further than they can on a narrow plank.

Real oak, properly built

This is a 14/3mm engineered board: a genuine 3mm oak wear layer bonded to a multi-ply core. The 3mm veneer is thick enough to be sanded and refinished at least twice, so this is a floor with decades in it rather than one you replace. The engineered construction is far more stable than solid oak across changes in heat and humidity, which is why it works over underfloor heating where solid timber does not.

Choosing a width

At 190mm this is the wider Cotswold plank — broad and contemporary, and the better choice for open-plan spaces and larger rooms. The 125mm version gives a closer-set, more traditional look.

Installation

Acclimatise for 48–72 hours before fitting, leave an expansion gap at every perimeter, and allow around 10% for cuts and waste. Professional fitting recommended.
